Cavaliers C Varejao has ankle surgery (AP)
Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao (VAR'-eh-zhoh) has had successful surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right ankle. The team said in a statement that the procedure was performed Saturday by Dr. Robert Andrews in Charlotte, N.C. Varejao suffered the season-ending injury during practice on Jan. 6.
